KEN SMITH STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION AND MASSAGE THERAPY Ken's passion for health began after graduating high school and is rooted in his service to his country as a paramedic in the USAF. After his military years, Ken went to Oregon Health Science University to pursue a degree in Health Science and to play basketball on a collegiate level. It is his combination of health knowledge and athletic background that lead him to his career as s an “Integrative Bodyworker”. One of the perks of his background was the ability to travel the world and personally experience many different techniques and therapies from many different cultures. Studying and receiving many different modalities had a profound influence on his ideas about healing the body. After studying with Ed Maupin (the grandfather of Structural Integration) he found his home in wellness. Kens philosophy is three fold: Achieve the goals of his clients. Treat everyone who walks through his doors as family. Educate on health and life.
“You can feed a man or teach him to fish… I prefer to do both.” -Ken Smith
